Good photo of Linda, though the multi-color stage lights always made the hair and skin color look off and terrible. This isn't as bad as some I have seen, though purplish overtones to Linda's dark brown or black hair is the only thing wrong with the photo.

I found this one on a facebook fan page.. It almost looks like someone did a photshop job on it. This is an incredibly beautiful photo of Linda, but I'm not totally sure if the photo hasn't been photoshopped. Or at least colored. Linda's hair, of course, was dark brown to dark black in the 70s, depending on her mood, I guess. Her hair in this photo looks good, but her black hair also looks a little too shiny. And I'm trying to remember if I ever saw her hair that shiny in the 70s. Also seems I like another photo of her with the same facial expression but the hair was lighter and straighter. I almost wanted to say someone took a photo of singer Mary MacGregor and superimposed Linda on this photo, but MacGregor had reddish-brown hair, not black. If I'd ever had the good fortune to have met Linda in the 70s (and why didn't I?), I would've proposed to her right on the spot if she looked like this photo.

Saw this on a facebook fan page? Doesn't say who the guy is.. any ideas? At first glance I thought it was Eddie Rabbitt.. I'm sure I am wrong.

Slide, I remember when we (my mom, aunt & uncle) saw Linda in 1980 at the Forum in L.A. We had good seats pretty close and the first thing we noticed was how "glossy," or shiny Linda's hair was..It was the Mad Love era and her hair was very short and all the perm was cut off... So whatever product she used/uses, her diet and her own genetics could be the product of very healthy hair and a nice sheen..

I posted that photo before (smaller version) but I can't recall for sure if there was a name to the photo. I do recall that photo was used in an adult magazine like Penthouse for an interview Linda did. The guy was cut out (except for his huge hand lol) on Linda. At first I thought it might be Thing from the Addams Family until I saw the photo later with the guy attached.

Isn't that the country singer who performed with her in La Boheme? Gary...Morris? It's not Gary Morris, whose hair was a little longer than this guy's. Also, the photo looks to be from the mid-70s, and I don't think Linda did "La Boheme" at that time. I thought it looked like Herb Albert, who I think was bearded around that time.

I was roaming back through this thread and I found an almost similar photo of Linda with shining black hair and similarly styled hair. I believe it was back on page three. So she had that sheen, I just didn't remember it. I like going back through the photos, see photos I may have missed or forgotten about. Some of the photos on Linda have disappeared and I think that's a shame, because as the song said, every picture tells a story. Because of Linda's illness, I wonder if the photographs could spur her memory and memories? Linda herself said she needs someone to remind her of the stories she knows because she can't remember them otherwise. Photographs might help her.

I think three of those recently-posted pictures are of Linda from 1970; the other one is obviously from her Living In The USA period in '78.

Taken from Los Cenzontles Academy Facebook Page Today Linda Ronstadt gave our students an incredible class on Mexican singers. Listening to Lucha Reyes, Chavela Vargas, Lola Beltran, Amalia Mendoza, Trio Tariacuri and Trio Calavera. And hearing Linda's comments on music. What an extraordinary treat.
