A new thread in which to post hopefully largely unseen-before pics of Our Girl. Starting off: Linda, shy but smiling, and imposing, playing acoustic guitar (1975): Her second appearance on Johnny Cash's TV show (March 11, 1970):

On almost the same note ( almost, since this is a 1979 ad for an AM C&W station in L.A. that no longer exists):

I love this one of Linda with Ann Savoy from 2006 (Adieu False Heart). Her smile is just magical.......it simply lights up a room. I can't help smiling just looking at her. SO BEAUTIFUL! By the way........what is it people say about how Linda has aged? I think she looks FABULOUS!

There was an early (1960's) Ronstadt photo of Linda standing in some water lifting up her dress but I have never seen it publicized before. There was/is a poster of it over the stairway in a Tempe eatery named Minder Binders. It is laminated to the ceiling (otherwise it would have disappeared years ago). The building has been boarded up for decades.

The first one is circa 1980, which is pretty much the same shot from ronstadtfanaz above. The second, which I like a lot, is from her performance with the McGarrigle Sisters. Linda was/is so beautiful on that one, circa 1984:

Many of the photos you've posted, Rob, are new to me, including that one b&w photo of Linda above with George "Goober" Lindsey, Dick Clark and Merle Haggard. I'm guessing that photo may be from the very early 70s, possibly late 60s even as Haggrad got very haggard looking the older he got. I like the photos of Linda wearing a windjacket or rain coat though the guys she is with in the group photo makes it look kind of goofy. And the photo of Linda relaxing in that chair...I'm guessing that's an "at home" photo, as I can see why she'd look so relaxed. But, the two other photos I'd call an "at home" photo, she has a very intense look on her face, very moody looking. One gets the impression she may not have wanted her picture taken.

Quote by sliderocker re. pic of Linda with Dick Clark, Merle Haggard, etc.:
Yes, that pic appeared in Billboard Magazine's May 3, 1969 publication. One thing that people might find ironic is that Merle, for what seems to be his image as a right-wing reactionary (if you only judge the man by "Okie From Muskogee" or "The Fightin' Side Of Me"), considered Linda, a hippie with a true appreciation for C&W, the best female singer he had ever heard. It kind of proves that you can't necessarily judge a person by a limited set of criteria (IMHO).

Nice photos. No I have never seen these before. Thank you for posting.
Prior to the first photo there are 4 boxes with crosses in the indicating that the picture is missing. Likewise there is a box preceding and following the last photo. When you right mouse click a text box appears with "show picture".
Are any missing?
