While Linda may not get the respectful airplay she deserves on many radio channels, I'm happy to report that there is one station that does give her that respect.
I've been in Palm Springs for three weeks helping a friend in need. Last week I discovered a station in Palm Springs (107.3 FM, The Mod) that specializes in standards.
Nearly every time I am in the car driving, they play a Linda/Riddle song. (And so far not a single Rod Stewart.) Here's what I've heard:
What's New Can't We Be Friends ("lovely Linda," the DJ said after the song, "can you imagine turning her down?") Sophisticated Lady ("such emotion," said the same DJ on a different day) Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry

I’ve heard Linda twice this week on the local Classic Country station. Both times was Long Long Time.

What's New again today on Mod FM.
You know, those Ronstadt/Riddle records sound just fabulous on the radio. They have a distinctive sound to them.
Was Long Long Time a country hit? Hard to imagine.

Quote by Richard W:
No it wasn't, but the perception that it was is due to the fact that Linda recorded the song at Cinderella Studios in Nashville.

What's New, Am I Blue, and the Midler duet Sisters on The Mod FM in Palm Springs. Great station that concentrates mainly on standards by various classic and contemporary artists, but also includes vintage pop like The Platters, Dionne Warwick, along with unexpected artists like Merle Haggard and The Pussycat Dolls. You can stream it here: 107.3 Mod FM Palm Springs

Yesterday I flipped the radio channel and they were in the middle of playing "It's About Time" from Linda's Hand Sown Home Grown album. So I checked the channel, it was the Sirius Prime Country channel, and It's About Time doesn't even match their format (country music of the 1980s and 1990s).
It was a special presentation by Dwight Yoakam tracing the rise of the Bakersfield Sound and California Country.

Over this weekend Radio 2CH (Sydney Australia) played the top 40 vocalists of the 1960's and 70s as voted by listeners.
Linda was No 26 - which is a good result as her last hit here was Don't Know Much.
They played Blue Bayou, Just One Look and Don't Know Much and noted that she had retired in 2009 and no longer sings because of Parkinson's Disease quoting from the recent San Francisco Chronicle article.

There was a Quebec radio station that used to have a 70s light rock show every Sunday and they played That'll be the day, It's so easy and Love is rose all the time. Haven't heard her on the radio much in the past few years except Blue Bayou once in a while.

A local Diner at lunch played Linda's version of Heatwave, which was a huge improvement over the usual top 40 dreck..

Knock me down with a feather. Jim Ladd played Love is a Rose on Sirius-XM Deep Tracks at 7:22 PM-CST on Friday 12/21/18. Don't think I've have ever heard Linda on deep tracks (vs. thousands of plays of Jethro Tull, not that I don't like Jethro Tull, but...)

Around 6:15 PM-CST on Friday 02/08/19, "Blue Bayou" in a string of "Bayou" songs on Sirius-XM Deep Tracks. Maybe the success of Live in Hollywood is wearing down the "downers."

It's good that Linda is played on the Deep Tracks channel, but in my opinion, Love Is a Rose and Blue Bayou are not deep tracks. They are bona fide hits.
Deep tracks would be Willin, Look Out for My Love, Faithless Love, Roll Um Easy, Many Rivers to Cross, Rock Me on the Water, I Will Always Love You, The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress, Hobo's Meditation, or a hundred other songs that deserve to be heard.

I sort of have an idea of what you are talking about as I never heard about Deep Tracks. Linda was one of the few artists whose albums were often more popular than their singles. You could count on every album being good with top notch musicians, production and her golden voice. She went all out too with her live shows and concerts using only the best people and paying them a very fair wage. She will be well rewarded in rock and roll heaven.

Both tracks were part of a theme (series of songs with something similar) based on the title - Love Is a Rose was with songs with flowers in the title and Blue Bayou was with songs with "bayou" in the title.

Is Jann Wenner dead? Two Linda songs on Sirius-XM Deep Tracks in two days. This morning (2/10/19 around 7:45 AM-CST), Dusty Street gave a shout-out first to the new album. Something like "Linda Ronstadt hasn't sung publicly for 10 years because of Parkinson's Disease, but that hasn't stopped her from releasing an album, a collection of live songs from her 1980 HBO special..." Good so far, but then Dusty strikes out by not even checking the album list. "...maybe this one is part of it." And then she plays Justine.

Bought a new car so canceled my old SXM. Good that Linda is getting some Sirius recognition, but if they don’t add her music to the 80s channel by the time my trial subscription expires, I am dropping them.

On the way to church yesterday morning, heard Justine again, this time about 10 minutes earlier than about two weeks ago. Perhaps Linda has made the Sirius Deep Tracks rotation - on Sunday mornings.

I heard "Girls Talk" playing on the sound system today when I was shopping at Sobeys. Really nice surprise, someone who works there must be a fan. Even better that they played a lesser known song. Mad Love rocks, gets better every time I listen to it.

Wow - this morning I was in the car from 6:15 - 8:30 AM and again from 11:15 AM - 1:30 PM and listening to the Sirius Bridge Channel. I heard a Linda song on both legs of the trip - Hurts So Bad on the way home (forgot the actual song around 8:00 AM). Maybe the Gods are looking up (or down).

They played "You're No Good" today on CJRZ The Rez, 93.5 FM. A Quebec station but I get it in New Brunswick too. Lots of good 70s and 80s rock on there.
