Sorry to bug ya'll again but you are so helpful I was wondering if anyone knew where to download the full album of this live concert: Apparently it was a concert at Budokan Hall. I googled it, but all the links pointed to Megaupload, which has been taken down Any suggestions? Thank you all

Budokan Hall
Transfer: 1st generation > Nakamichi CR 5A (Azimuth Adjusted) > MacBook Pro > Audacity 1.3.11 > Peak Pro XT 5.2 (volume smoothing/edit) > xACT 1.71 > Flac
Transferred and uploaded by mjk5510 (October 2012)
This show has circulated under the following date: January 27, February 27, February 28, February 1979 and March 1979.
This transfer comes from my 1st generation cassette I traded for in the early-mid 80's via a Japanese trader. The date written on the tape sent to me was 1979-03-02, 03-03.
I have found the following dates for the Japanese leg of the 1979 tour: 2/27/79 Budokan Hall, Tokyo, Japan 3/1/79 Kanagawa-Kenmin Hall, Kanagawa, Japan 3/3/79 Budokan Hall, Tokyo, Japan 3/5/79 Festival Hall, Osaka, Japan
I don't know if she played Tokyo on March 2nd but since my copy came from the FM master and considering the dates written on cassette I'm going with March 3rd as the date for this show. I have a CDR copy of the show I traded for at some point dated February 28 but it has a small amount of dialogue edited out and has some very hard/sloppy edits as well as an overall harshness to the sound.
There appear to be multiple versions circulating so hopefully this verified lineage version will be an upgrade for some or a first copy for others who may have missed any past versions. I have not heard all versions circulating but this is excellent quality with just a small touch of hiss between songs, it has a well balanced rich sound…
Linda really shines throughout as does her always excellent band.
Great set, great show...

It is one of the best live recordings of Linda Ronstadt. I was there to see the show.
In fact, I saw three concerts in a row. 3/1/1979 Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, Yokohama, Kanagawa 3/2/1979 Nippon Budokan Hall, Tokyo 3/3/1979 Nippon Budokan Hall, Tokyo (night show)
They were all amazing!

[/i][/quote] Philly, your Japanese trader is correct. Linda played at Nippon Budokan Hall on March 2, 1979. (She didn't play on February 27.) These tracks were recorded on March 2 and 3, at Nippon Budokan Hall, Tokyo. The 1979 Japanese tour councerts were held in the following venues: 3/1/1979 Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, Yokohama, Kanagawa 3/2/1979 Nippon Budokan Hall, Tokyo 3/3/1979 Nippon Budokan Hall, Tokyo (afternoon show) 3/3/1979 Nippon Budokan Hall, Tokyo (night show) 3/5/1979 Festival Hall, Osaka 3/6/1979 Festival Hall, Osaka

Seems this is the same 2/27/79 concert recently posted by Reverenddb (real minister?) in Collectibles section of this board (hear Linda's "my word!" after fan's scream before Desperado in both recordings). The only question for the more refined ears that are members on this board is which recording is "better"?
