And you want to know why real people can't go to concerts like this anymore?? Well at least she gave $100,000 (hopefully each) to the truck drivers who must haul her stuff up to Levi's Stadium (home of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, by the way).
But even as a top rate, $250 for parking at SoFi sounds a bit like highway (or is it freeway) robbery to me. They don't even charge anywhere close to that to park at the Hollywood Bowl, to my knowledge; and it is a much harder place to leave from (and impossible to leave early from) than SoFi ever will be.
As for Ms. Swift herself--well, I think I have said pretty much everything I want to say about her. I can't tell if she has done anything to improve her voice, which I have always found to be full of irritating mannerisms; and her songs indicate just how full she is of herself, save maybe for "Begin Again", "Back September" and "Betty".
But as the late Memphis DJ George Klien said about a great friend of his (namely Elvis), "If you're a fan, no explanation is necessary. If you're not, no explanation is possible."

250 $ to park. wow. I'd hop the fence before I'd pay that much. As for Taylor, actually she has grown on me somewhat. I did buy her "Evermore," CD and love most of the songs... especially "Marjorie." I don't think I'll be attending any of her concerts either.

250 $ to park. wow. I'd hop the fence before I'd pay that much. What KABC Channel 7 Eyewitness News' report said was that the TOP price to park is $250 for the Taylor Swift concert. I believe it said that "parking rates range from $25 to $250." As for ticket prices, yes, I agree. Recently I went down to San Diego and, being a senior citizen, I was able to do the Senior Rush and could get a ticket (a really good seat) for $20+. But that's the exception and considering that people think it is their God-given right to talk, etc. during performances as if they are at home (and people pulled this b.s. before COVID so I don't blame COVID for people "not realizing" there are other people around them) and not caring that other people might want to hear/see what is going on. And when I see on the news some of these people getting in line at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night to be the first in line to buy Taylor Swift merchandise (t-shirts, etc.) when the stand opens at 12 noon Wednesday, my thought it that I think many of these people probably can't afford to be spending $45 on one T-shirt, let alone the price for a ticket, the price to pay for parking, food at SoFi Stadium, etc.

I'll probably have a far better experience tonight at the Hollywood Bowl, which involves the screening of director Stanley Kubrick's 1968 sci-fi masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey. and its all-classical score being performed by the L.A. Philharmonic and the L.A. Master Chorale under Caleb Young.

save maybe for "Begin Again", "Back September" and "Betty". I did get Swifts, "Folklore," and I absolutely love it. "Betty," I get emotional, and I don't know why?... it's not my story.. yet I feel like I know the characters. I might choke after saying this lol...Ms. Swift is a very talented writer. IMO
