I came across this article from the New York Times of August 26, 1977. This was sent to me a couple of decades ago by forum member RobGNYC, but I think this is the first time it has been posted here.

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, her last name was misspelled yet again in the last paragraph regarding the concert cancellation.

I was just thinking the same thing that her name was spelled wrong in the last paragraph and that it was an add on by another writer. All have a great day!! eddiejinnj

Sorry to say not the only time in the NY Times. September 6, 1992, article by James Hunter on Trisha: “Her singing blends the assertiveness of Linda Rondstadt with the interpretive insights of Rosanne Cash.”
