“Linda with some of her backup musicians…” Would it have been that difficult to name Waddy, Kenny, and Andrew? Linda always made sure to credit her band on stage and in the album notes. TIME should have done the same. I thought that the best thing about the “Living in the USA” ads was the “Featuring” with all of the band’s names.

I never liked the way her hair looked in pic because it was so drastically feathered (I know that was the style I had feathered hair too) but I guess the feathering was not gradual and she wasn't having the best skin day. You can see it more in that session when she was in jeans and holding the poppy. It was a daring cover for Time magazine. I got it as soon as it came out. All have a great day!!! eddiejinnj

That was a very pivotal article in its "Time." I remember when it came out and I still have it in my collection.
This reader comment made me chuckle:
"I am sick and tired of hearing Lin- da Ronstadt complain about the priests and nuns who taught her. Having taught for 35 years myself and reading about some of the stunts she pulled in the class. room, I get the idea she was a pain." (Brother) Raymond Long, F.S.C.

I don't recall ever discussing her fantasy re: a clergyman. eddiejinnj
