Call her "Dr. Ronstadt"--Linda just got a PH.D from the University of Arizona, the very school she dropped out of after just thirteen weeks in late 1964 to pursue her career:

They certainly did not alert the media. Why was this kept a secret for almost 2 years?
About 4 years ago I wrote to the U of A and suggested they should award an honorary doctorate to Linda Ronstadt. I got no response.
I'm glad they honored her but there was absolutely no public celebration or even acknowledgement. I suppose much of that has to do with the pandemic times, but they should have issued a press release.

I was doing an unrelated youtube search (it brings up artists/topics previously searched too) and the above vid came up, which I am not sure I caught the whole thing at the time of the post. Yes, it went back to 2021. Weird, we didn't see it to post earlier. eddiejinnj

I love this but it looks like it is May/June 2021. Why is no one wearing a mask? Are they vaccinated? The vaccines were just becoming widely available in April/May 2021. Yikes!
