The losses keep mounting in the entertainment field. This time, we've lost master Indian sitarist Ravi Shankar, who introduced his instrument to Western audiences through tutoring George Harrison and Brian Jones in the 1960s. I was expecting radio broadcasts to mention Ravi's famous daughter but they didn't.

Given the priority of our media I would expect them to announce Norah's father died.. RIP - a real musician
