On the Barbra (Streisand) Archives website, there is an item about Willie Nelson discussing that he just went into the studio and recorded a duet with Streisand. He also mentions that he has his own album on which he duets with Emmylou Harris on one song and with Dolly Parton on another.... barbra-archives.com/news/index.html Willie Talks Barbra Willie Nelson sat down with host Johnny Knoxville as part of SiriusXM's Town Hall series and answered questions from his fans. On the subject of duets, Willie said: “I've said for twenty years I one day want to do a duet with Barbra Streisand. It just so happens the word, I guess, got back to her. She had a song written for her and I recorded it, and I went in and sang with Barbra Streisand.” Knoxville asked when that duet is coming out. Nelson replied: “It's up to her. Whenever she wants it to come out. I'm doing an album called To All the Girls and I wanna put it in that album if she'll let me. I did songs with Emmylou [Harris], and Dolly [Parton] ...” And more on the Streisand song: “Dolly's song is original. And the Barbra Streisand song.” Barbra Streisand has been working on her own duets album for a few months—the duet with Willie Nelson could appear on it. A release date has not been announced yet. Walter Afanasieff and Babyface Edmonds are producing.
