It is cool that Linda in the white letters list. Are all of these people in this movie or is it Danny and the others at the bottom discussing/film clips of them working with all those artists?

eddie, hi, were you able to watch the video?
If you go to the link I sent you should be able to view the trailer.
It is Danny, Waddy, Lee Sklar, Russ Kunkel, and then Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, etc. discussing working with these musicians. Did you ever see the documentary "Wrecking Crew" about the studio musicians who played on a bunch of (mostly 1960s) hits? Same director, but this time it is Linda, James, Jackson, Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Peter Asher talking about these musicians.

Yes, I watched it. Is this truly an "outtake" that is not in movie or is in movie and is the trailer for it? eddiejinfl

The closest place the film will be screening near me is down in Coronado, near San Diego.

This looks like a fascinating documentary! These guys deserve recognition for their contributions and legendary status in the music world. Interesting comments about Lee Sklar and his shyness. I would love to see the big reveal behind the beard…

Thanks, Rob!! It is a good pic of the 3 together. I can't believe how much Linda looks like my Mom in her later 5 years. All have a great safe weekend!!

Not much of and article or review, only three short paragraphs long and doesn’t really say much. I am wondering if there is something wrong with my iPad or my subscription. I have a digital subscription that I pay for the New York Times. Did you all also just get three small paragraphs? Not the norm for the NYT. Mine stopped with the mention of David Crosby’s band mate. Great photo though. Thanks for posting.

It’s a short review in the “Film Reviews” section rather than the longer reviews in the “Movies” section but there is one paragraph after the one that you mentioned:
“Their stories are often funny, like one in which Wachtel recounts hammering out “Werewolves” all night with the guest rhythm players Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, only to conclude that they had nailed the song on Take 2.”

My wife and I watched it Sunday night. We didn't think it was that good overall. The idea was interesting but there was a lot of stuff that slowed it down along the way. There was little in it that I didn't already know. We were biased of course but there wasn't much about Linda in it. They of course played with a lot of people so they didn't have to only focus on her. Some of the anecdotes were funny. There were also a lot of other members of the "LA Mafia" as I call them that they didn't include, even though they weren't official members of this unofficial band. (Like Andrew Gold, Bill Payne.etc) Overall, it was about 30 minutes too long. In the last half hour it seemed that they could have wrapped it up 2 or 3 times but they didn't. If they cut a lot out and made it an hour it would have been better.
