Cool clip. It seems slightly sped up or Linda was particularly in a boogie mood, lol!!! I noticed Mike Botts on drums. It seems to me that we don't discuss him as often as other members of her band especially the drummers. I like his stache. eddiejinfl

I don't think I ever saw the pic above. It's a groovy dress (I have seen that on her before). eddiejinfl

Thanks for responses. It is the dress she wore on the back cover of Silk Purse. eddiejinfl

I love that session of pics. Windswept and interesting description is interesting LOL!!! For some reason, I thought that pic was taken by the shore.

The name of the photographer of that “windswept” shot appears to be lost. I checked Discogs for Stone Poneys and Friends Vol. III (front cover) and Different Drum (back cover)--the photos appear to be from the same session--but I didn't find a photo credit. “Michael Ochs Archive” tells us nothing and that happens increasingly often. I wrote a letter to the NY Times recently upbraiding them for crediting a James Kriegsmann photo to “Getty Images.” Sad.

Well, I know that Michael Ochs has photographed Linda, I believe, a number of times. I think the dressing room photo of her in the "Nobody' shirt is an Ochs photo. If not, I know there are other photos. eddiejinfl

It’s getting harder and harder to figure it out. The Michael Ochs Archive had over three million photos before Ochs sold it to Getty Images. Those two names are credited more and more to the exclusion of the actual photographer. Maybe there’s no legal/copyright obligation to credit the photographer. If so, I think that’s lousy law.

Editorial comment: I’m older than many Forum members (63) and a Luddite in many ways but that aside, does anyone else get agita from IG postings? Endless hashtags and scrolling? Uninformed comments are a separate topic. I’m referring to just the format. As Linda has said about changing engineers, it makes me “sweaty under the armpits.” Stuck with it I guess until the next social media format. (Full disclosure—I don’t have an IG account and I’ve never followed anyone—my sole contact with IG is this Forum.)

I don't have an IG account either and have no interest. I agree, Rob, that the format is not user friendly and all those hashtags are confusing/annoying. My mate only joined FB during the pandemic lockdown as we couldn't go to thrift shops/yard sales and we started going to FB online auctions.

Ok, so this annoyed me because they say they're giving away a signed copy of the boxset. We all know Linda can't sign her autograph, so this is a stamped version of her signature at best. Granted, it's a free giveaway contest, but why be deceitful? http://instagram.com/p/C5glFYvp7XD

I am not contradicting anybody but I guess I am trying to say that I didn't know she was unable to sign her name. Do we know that she can't completely? I guess I just figured that her stamp was used for multiple copies of SD. This seems like it would be an autograph (at best based on what was presented above) only on one boxset. I just hoping for her sake she can at least sign her name still at times when able.

If she does find signing her name difficult or near-impossible now, I wouldn't doubt it. Progressive Supranuclear Palsy has all the signs of Parkinson's, which is why Linda got misdiagnosed with the latter until 2019, and, it would seem, it is much more insidious. That Linda is even able to do anything involving her hands is saying a lot, because that won't exactly last forever.
