More in her early years probably, which Linda songs were performed live before their inclusion on an album, or single?
You're No Good was first performed in 1973. Keep Me From Blowing Away Lies I Know...Love
any others?

"That'll Be The Day" "Tumbling Dice" "Bandit and a Heartbreaker" When/where did Linda do "Tumbling Dice" before Simple Dreams (not counting 1977 concerts just before the album release)?

You Can Close Your Eyes, 1971. Three years before Linda recorded the song, she performed it on some syndicated music show out of Houston. I don't remember the name of the show, which was named after a DJ. I remember the DJ engaging Linda in some small talk interviews. Linda talking about wanting only to work with musicians who were around her age and whose musical skills would be similar to other musicians her age. I thought Linda was a bit naive about her point of view. But, she performed the James Taylor song and I was knocked out by her vocals. ANd she also mentioned wanting to record the song. I think her discography listed an early attempt, but I'm not sure. I don't know if John Beyland was on that show with Linda. Maybe he could remember the name.

I believe Linda did "Long Long Time" on her second appearance on Playboy After Dark in April 1970 (the singles version wouldn't be released until early summer)

I was thinking yesterday the first name of the DJ in question was Larry but couldn't remember his last name or if that was even correct at all. I just remember Linda being on the show. Awesome! I salute you, my friend!

The Larry Kane Show (Houston) (Taped 15 May 1971) Is that Kane or King? If it had been Larry King, I would've been greatly embarrassed over not remembering him. King was 38 in 1971 while Kane the DJ was probably 30 to maybe 35, so just a tad younger. I watched The Larry Kane Show when I could. It aired out of Tulsa and my family lived about 150 miles from Tulsa at the time. Almost impossible to get a TV signal that far away, even with an outdoor antenna.

I think we can add Bob Dylan's "Walkin' Down The Line", which she performed on Playboy After Dark in October 1969, but (somewhat surprisingly) never recorded on any album that we know of.
And if memory serves me, she also did Mr. Dylan's "I Shall Be Released" during some club dates in 1969. Again, though, she never got around to recording it (possibly because Joan Baez did what was arguably a definitive version on her 1969 Nashville folk/country album Any Day Now).

I remember in Chicago in 2004 she played something from Hummin’ To Myself before the album was released but I can’t remember what she sang. I think it was “Never Will I Marry”, “Cry Me A River” or “Tell Him I Said Hello”. She said something about trying to finish the album and then sang something from it.
