Wacky! Did you see how "Deadline Hollywood" editor Nikki Finke describe Zooey? " She may be the most annoying showbiz actress" ? I think Joseph Gordon-Levitt comes off well here. I thought he was great in "Mysterious Skin."

Erik, the reason I posted the little video is because of all of the previous posts about Zooey -- several threads of which I originated, so I am quite aware of the discussion surrounding her. I also remember that people mostly see the physical resemblance between Linda and Zooey. But as far as Zooey having the musical chops that Linda possesses, we know that's not within her (the her of She and Him) grasp. And her personality/persona is, IMHO, quite annoying. She doesn't have to be arrested or shoplift to be annoying. The Kardashians are annoying, too. It's a long list!

I guess it's the Cult of Personality syndrome at work here. Andy Warhol had it right, that everyone of us will be famous for fifteen minutes.
As for the Kardashians--the less said about those idiots, the better (IMHO).

First time I ever saw Zooey in a movie, I thought she looked enough like Linda that she'd be the perfect choice to play Linda if a biopic about Linda was ever made. And maybe an added bonus to that possibility is that Zooey herself is a singer-songwriter, so if a movie was ever made, she could also supply the vocals. There's only a couple of things different about Zooey as it relates to Linda: she's slightly taller and has blue eys, if I'm not mistaken. But, in Hollywood, such things don't really matter as most people probably don't even know or care how tall Linda is or that she has the prettiest chocolate brown eyes I've ever seen.

I do not find her annoying at all. But her sitcom (The New Girl) did not grab my attention. If she is in a movie, I will probably go see it. The movie she did with Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer) is one of the best rom-coms of recent years.

The movie she did with Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer) is one of the best rom-coms of recent years. I saw Zooey a few years back in some Will Farrell movie, and seems like she had a song or two in that movie. I saw her in another movie around the same time and just thought there wasn't anyone else who could play Linda if that were to ever happen. Likewise, Zooey's sitcom didn't grab me either...I watched the first episode because of being a Zooey fan and was very disappointed. I expected better but then again, it was TV and it is Fox and it's the kind of bland comedy produced in the 1960s for ABC.
