What's with the rotating chairs?

The auditions are blind. The Voice judges don't see contestants during auditions, so they aren't influenced by the contestant's attractiveness, body size or sense of style

In one way that is good but sometimes it is the whole package that sells. I mean lots of my favorite singers are not great singers but they emote star quality and likewise being good looking doesn't make one sexy or appealing even if they are a great singer. Not sure I am explaining myself well here.

Yes, I understand what you are saying.. You know, the first time I heard Linda or rather paid attention was at a department store (May Company) and I was lured in to the electronics dept, the clerk was playing "rock me on the water, from A Retrospective.. without knowing who she was or the song, her voice triggered my curiosity and lured me in. I was just a kid. That never happened to me before. So I guess, in my own little way.. I turned my chair for Linda.

Based on just that one performance, I think Suzanna is someone to watch out for.

You reckon she chose the song because she sounds just like Stevie Nicks? I would have to hear more. My chair is in the stuck position.

I think she admitted to copping a Stevie influence, which is why she chose it.
I admit that it is only one performance and one song, but as a start, this is really quite good (IMHO).

That chair thing still bothers me. What does it mean if no one turns around?
I think if it were me on stage I would sing the song "Turn Around Look At Me."
