Went to Karla Bonoff's concert in Sellersville PA - her first since "summer vacation". Since we can't see Linda anymore, this is the next best thing. She sang at least a half-dozen of her songs we associate with Linda (and Linda+Aaron, probably more, if you include Falling Star on her Box Set, the songs LR did harmony vocals on Karla's album, and The Water is Wide). The songs were just as good with Karla - since she wrote or arranged them. It was interesting to note that Linda's versions were obviously not that much different from Karla's original arrangements. She had an AMAZING guitarist backing her up - Nina Gerber. The only thing missing was the amazing 2-part and 3-part harmonies from the original albums (LR as a backup singer perhaps?). See this concert if it comes near you. Plus, Karla is playing Kenny Edward's guitar that she inherited.
