Sorry I don’t have a link for the album track but here is a live performance and the album cover which lists the song.

In a somewhat similar vein, here is a download of all the songs on the Heart Like a Wheel album performed by other artists- You're No Good by the Swinging Blue Jeans You Can Close Your Eyes by Joni Mitchell I Can't Help It If I'm Still In Love With You by Ricky Nelson I probably made a mistake by including the Archie Campbell version of Dark End of the Street instead of Gregg Allman or some more soulful singer, but... Here is the download link if anyone is interested: Heart Like A Wheel- not by Linda Ronstadt

James Carr is the go to voice for Dark End Of The Street. I am thinking his is the arrangement Linda was looking to cover.

Welcome, Robbie. The author of this thread is (other than my other half) my best friend. I am glad he joined. He has gone to see Linda with us and I went to see Reba M. with him (that is his diva and one I admire myself). eddiejinfl
PS: Robbie: the cost of being in the forum is to help your friend put an avatar by his name (just kidding) because despite kind directions of other members it still has not happened and I have been on the forum for 15 yrs. Now I have to choose a pic.
PSS: I think I want the sepia toned one (or color version) where Linda has long hair and an Ivory colored dressy blouse. Just stunning!!!!! I like the one they picked for the new documentary.
