Not only is she a fine singer, but a very good songwriter also.. She can encapsulate a whole lot in a just a few well chosen words.. ie. 'There's no room down here for a pretty mess'. from Bramble Rose.. .I plan to see my other favorite current singer-songwriter (Regina Spektor) in October (woo-hoo!) who also combines fine singing and creative lyrics,.. I will post on that when the time comes..

Yes, cymru56 has been a big supporter of Tift Merritt since he first highlighted her over at the Women of Country website back in 2002. It did quite a bit to get people's attention with respect to Tift's considerable musical acumen (IMHO).
