Erik and I have longed touted Tift as an impeccable singer songwriter and once again she doesn't disappoint..

As Robert said, Tift has done it again here. She once again proves herself to be totally unique and true to herself, and to her Linda/Emmy-influenced "old school" approach.
Of course, there's no reason to suspect that mainstream corporate radio will give Tift the kind of loving her music deserves, especially not country radio, no matter how much twang or steel guitars she puts on (or maybe the twang and the steel guitars are the problem?). Nevertheless, she's clearly given of herself another really great album to look forward to in the fall.
