I have to wonder how many songs were written in Linda's house besides Witchy Woman?

It could be that the impact that "Witchy Woman" made on her at that time was such that she might not be able to remember what others there were that got composed there.
If there's any disappointment I feel in knowing all this, it's in knowing that Linda just didn't have the kind of inner confidence (as opposed to braggadocio) to be more of a songwriter herself, since, on the basis of "Try Me Again", "Lo Siento Mi Vida", and "Winter Light", she really could shine in this area.

Well, definitely a bunch by J.D. Souther when they were living together. I imagine it would be intimidating to attempt songwriting when surrounded by these all these exceptionally talented musicians, but Linda's songs were great!

what other Joni songs did Linda record besides River?
I sure wish Linda would of written more......but then again...her arrangements ARE in fact writings!

I think that is the only one of Joni Mitchell's songs she recorded although she was a big fan too.
Many of us remember the story of Linda showing up early in the morning at J.D. Souther's house unannounced just as Joni was leaving probably after spending the night. A very awkward situation. If I were Linda I probably would have cooked her with honey.
