I am looking for ways to cut down on animals as food because of the terrible cruelty most of them endure. It isn't easy when you were raised on meat and potatoes at every meal growing up and your daddy was a butcher workman. I also discovered I have a fairly common gene mutation that affects the way my body assimilates (or doesn't assimilate) foods I eat. For instance, I show a high B12 level without taking vitamins. What is happening is that I actually have low to no Vitamin B 12 because my body can't take it out of my food unless it is in a methylated form. So while it looks like I am taking too much based on blood tests I am actually low on it. A symptom of low B 12 is chronic fatigue, extreme neuropathy, numbness, vertigo, muscle spasms, fibromyalgia, etc. I discovered this all on my own (requested some gene testing) as my doctors were at a loss so it pays to take charge of one's health and get on the internet.beyondmeat.com/

Did you ever just think you were a piece of meat? Or do you prefer being alone?

It is my understanding that this can also be used to bind sausage.
