Personally, I don't know if this is such a good idea. There's just something...well, creepy about it. It doesn't strike me as creepy. A virtual resurrection will still just be a film in the end. What would be different would be if someone could interact with the virtual reality. much like the holodeck program that was part of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" series. What I do find creepy is another plan by Elvis Presley Enterprises and Clive Davis to do another album of duets. When that idea was announced, there was a photo of Davis with Priscilla. I looked at that photo and thought that another duet album sounds like her idea, just as "Elvis By the Presleys" was her idea. The fun part about that ridiculous TV special was that there were only two real Presleys - Lisa, Elvis's daughter and Patsy Presley Gambill, Elvis's first cousin on the special. Priscilla had her parents on but of course they weren't Presleys unless Priscilla thought she was some queen and had the authority to take it upon herself to bestow Presleyhood on others. Her parents being a part of that special was creepy because they used the program to address the issue of whether Prissy's stepfather pressured Elvis into marrying her. There was a kind of a wink and a laugh to that segment as it was like (Priscilla) "Oh, Daddy, you didn't do that, did you? " (Mr. Beaulieu, a/k/a Daddy): "Oh no, no, no. I didn't put any kind of pressure on Elvis to marry you, daughter." Just addressing the issue suggested there was some truth to the story and that it was putting Pissy and her parents in a negative light. And discussing the story only made it that much more creepy and believable.

Brad Paisley's been touring the past few years with a holographic image of Alison Krauss that appears behind him for their duet of Whiskey Lullaby
I was thinking how awesome it would be if Linda had one of her concerts recorded in 3D...that would be something to show the youngins!

It probably would. But I kind of doubt she'll want to do it.

Many years ago holographic tv's were being touted as the ultimate entertainment. We will be seeing our favorite shows acted outside of the set in our living rooms as if we are in the middle of it.
