jfutty, welcome to the Forum!
If you hit "Reply" to this post, if you have your ticket, etc., scanned as files on your computer, then click "Add Attachment" on the upper right side and add the files. I think they can only be of a certain size. If they are too large, they won't upload here.
Hope this is helpful.
Thank you and welcome aboard.

Ronstadt performed at Mississippi State University's Humphrey Coliseum in fall 1980. I was there, but don't have my ticket stub. I'm trying to pin down the date, but haven't had much luck searching the internet. The MSU 1981 yearbook, The Reveille, is available online, which includes a few details and photos from the concert. See: archive.org/details/reveille771981missLooking at the Mad Love Tour 2 dates above, the MSU concert most likely was in mid-October. Any one have a better idea of the actual date? If you look at her schedule during that month there are only a handful of days open. I wonder if one of the two Mississippi dates have the wrong location?

I was at the concert. She was introduced by the Mississippi State strength coach Al Miller. She had been given a white Mississippi State football jersey before coming on stage. For the performance she wore the jersey, a black belt, and some black high heels only! Wow! She knocked the ball out of the park in every aspect of that performance.

Any photos available from the concert? I would love to see that outfit! That would have been about the time as Pirates rehearsals before it opened on Broadway.

I have photos from Radio City but did not bring a Camera to Rutgers. Now that I think of it Linda also played Nassau Coliseum during that tour (no idea of the date but assume in close proximity to RCMH) as I recall have some very far away bad pictures form that show:) I have a good deal of pictures to scan and get posted here - I just need 5 extra hours in every day to do it:) The Nassau Coliseum show was held on April 13, 1980.

In which paper was the Nassau Coliseum review published? I’m guessing Newsday. Wayne Robins wrote for Newsday in the late ‘70s-early’80s.

Her concert at MSU WAS definitely on the 16th of October, 1980! As was already mentioned, she came out on stage wearing the Mississippi State white football jersey, along with a belt and high heels; saw and heard everything that night from two rows back. A fan somewhere not too far from me cried out, “Take it off!”, to which she replied, “ when I was growing up I only wanted two things; a great set of boobs, and a sexy pair of legs - only got one of those wishes, and you’re looking at them!” Brought the house down!
