sdnews.com/view/full_story/18701844/article-Elvis-tribute--all-star-jazz-and-moody--atmospheric-piano-?instance=sdnews_ane_page <snip> From the San Diego Community Newspaper Group -- Linda Ronstadt may no longer be releasing much music or play live very often, but there is still a huge audience for her past hits, particularly the clutch of songs she released between 1968 and 1978. The Clone Ponies fill the void, playing everything from “Different Drum” to “You’re No Good.” Most of Ronstadt’s top 40 tunes were covers of other artists from Chuck Berry to Elvis Costello, making this show much more varied than one might expect while still full of nothing but crowd pleasers. • The Clone Ponies perform at 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 at Tio Leo’s, 5302 Napa St. 21 and up. Cover TBD. www.tioleos.com

That sounds like a good show!
And I like the positive spin on the whole "cover" bizness: "...making this show much more varied than one might expect while still full of nothing but crowd pleasers."
Anyone from San Diego going?
