Having grown up in L.A. it is just one more of those things that doesn't stay the same. When I was a kid (born in '57), we used to listen to KFWB for Top 40 songs and then KHJ and KRLA moved in on the territory. With KHJ dominant and KRLA also strong in the market, KFWB was turned into an all-news station by Group W/Westinghouse. From L.A. Observed -- Classic L.A.
