It seems to be an all Linda morning for me lol!!!! Was reading the article from the above referenced magazine of April 1, 1988. This was at the beginning of her Canciones tour. In the article, which I had thought I had read thoroughly in the past, it said her next album was to be called "Voces." Has anybody heard this before? It was to be about a third-generation Cuban-American woman facing a culture of materialism. Never heard of it. I know "Frenesi" is Afro-Cuban music (unbelievable vocals on that one. well I am biased lol) but never heard of this "Voces" project which has a character. eddiejinnj

I think Frenesi is likely what Voces morphed into in the end.

I think Frenesi is likely what Voces morphed into in the end. More than likely, that is what happened, but there's always an outside chance that it could've been another album that for whatever reason, didn't get made or didn't get released if it was made. But, I've never heard of an unreleased album by Linda although if there was one, she wouldn't be the first major artist with an unreleased album sitting in the vaults. Elvis, Neil Diamond, Ringo Starr, Kenny Rogers, the Bee Gees and even Willie Nelson (I think) all had and have unreleased albums. But, if there is an unreleased album by Linda, I tend to think that possibility was more likely in the early 70s than in the mid-70s and later as that sessionography on Linda suggests there was enough material from around 1971 that could've been made into an album. I don't believe Linda's later sessions from the 80s and 90s produced enough material to make up an album, although here again, there's not enough information on Linda as to a complete sessionography as to what is in the vaults. We could be surprised.

There are non-album B-sides & guest appearances to make a couple of extra albums at least, from Linda's career. The "Orphan" thread shows that. Still some duets as well.

Guest Appearances there is certainly enough material but non-album B sides not too many and none to my knowledge that haven't appeared on an album of some form (like the Box Set or the Raven Records album that included "She's a Very Lovely Woman"). Songs like "Falling Star" that were recorded and not included on the current album being worked on we have discussed may be a source of unheard Linda. "Price of Love" is not on any album we have all yet to find, no? eddiejinnj

Linda albums/collections have yet to include; So Fine, Rambler Gambler & Carnival Bear, though they are on CDs as part of compilations, Linda's 3 Disney songs, her 2 Sesame Street "Canciones" songs (which were specially kiddyised) & about a half dozen other Spanish & Mariachi ones.

I have as many non-Linda albums with rare Linda songs on them, as actual Linda albums LOL.
