(Audio Interview)Published on October 27, 2011 by Bob Andelman Linda is discussed beginning about 15:40...nothing we don't already know the new coffee table book celebrating the band’s lengthy career was written by Ben Fong-Torres, one of America’s most successful magazine writers, a man who got his start in the 1970s with Rolling Stone. Here's an excerpt from a document on Ben Fong-Torres' website re: Linda.
Away from the stage, I remember wanting to hug Linda Ronstadt one Valentine's night. She was riding high on Heart Like a Wheel. She was on tour, in Honolulu, and her boyfriend was in Los Angeles. After the concert, I escorted her to her hotel. While waiting for the elevator, she saw a couple holding hands. "Oh, I don't have anybody to kiss me," she said with a pout. And it just didn't seem fair.

Linda in the 70s was enough to set my heart racing and truth be told, she still sets my heart racing and always will.
