Very sweet, indeed. I never felt her diversion into this music form was a mistake or a turn-off for me as a fan.

I never felt her diversion into this music form was a mistake or a turn-off for me as a fan. I remember it being very newsworthy at the time, her foray into what I thought of as "fuddy-duddy" music. I was as surprised as anyone that she would devote herself to a project that couldn't be nearly as successful as contemporary music. But at the same time she had renewed my admiration for her, in taking a road less traveled. How many artists say they don't care about the money, just enough to live on and their art supplies and they'll be happy with that. True, Linda was already rich, but sometimes people get trapped by their successes, and aren't as free as it may appear.
