Just in case anyone's curious to know, there is a Linda Ronstadt blog out there that is also worth visiting. The web address, however, has changed; the site can be accessed here: simpledreamin.tumblr.com/

Thanks for the new link.
I have visited this site many times and find it to be a great one for all things Linda as well.

I visit there every day, and I often contribute stuff I find off the Internet, hopefully stuff that no one has yet seen (or seen for years). I think people who don't know about it yet will find it worthwhile. It makes for a great companion piece to Tony's site here.

Isn't this the same site (updated) I posted a year or two ago in the photos section of the old forum or is it a new site? That one was by Astral Fox I believe (or something like that).
Speaking of tumblr, yahoo, photobucket and other sites like it you can do a search in their photo sections for Linda Ronstadt and come up with a mammouth list of photos. 90% we have all seen but a special few we haven't seen much of that were in people's collections or that they themselves lifted in their rigorous searches. Not all search engines are created equal and anything on the internet is public and fair game. They are not much good if they are not shared and enjoyed by other fans. If you happen to have a link it would be nice to post it to give them credit but it is very hard to really know where they truly originated.

It's been around since April of 2011, so almost two years. The person who operates it is named Kirstie Ward.

As I write this, the newest entries are:
A picture of Linda posing in front of a pick-up truck in Topanga Canyon, dating from the summer of 1971.
Four pics taken of Linda while performing as Neil Young's opening act in Houston in February 1973. It was during this time that, at nearby Liberty Hall, Linda and Neil took time out to see Gram Parsons; and it was there that Gram had the bright notion of putting Linda and Emmy together for "Sin City", hence starting a friendship that has now lasted a whopping 40 years (!).

We actually have a lot in common, as far as our discovery or re-discovery of Linda and her music. The one difference is she's only 22! I think it's terrific that someone that young is so into Linda. I think the majority of today's younger generation would love Linda's music compared to the female singers of today. She is doing an extraordinary job with her website. I told her I'd like to start one of my own. She said it was a great idea. I love all of the photos she has posted. There are some I've seen before but quite a few are very rare. I visit the site often. I just love it!

Getty Images seems to collect and archive lots of these photos. To get the watermark off can be expensive but there certainly is much there to admire as well as a couple of other archive sites and personal collections.
