I thought I heard her name mentioned, and listened more closely to see if they mentioned it again. Proud to hear it mentioned in this day and age!

I listened to it last night. I was really surprised. I don't care for the skit but loved hearing Linda's name mentioned. It is good to know Linda is still thought of.

I thought it was funny although Californians might not. Was that Justin Bieber? or just a look-a-like?

Yes, it was Justin Bieber. I watched the clip.. I thought the 2 main guys were funny and the freeway talk is pretty common too.

I thought it was funny although Californians might not. Was that Justin Bieber? or just a look-a-like? Yes, ronstadtfan, that was Justin. Here is what Deadline.com had to say about his stint on "SNL" -- www.deadline.com/2013/02/snl-more-proof-justin-bieber-cant-act/ "Saturday Night Live" has been doing this skit "The Californians" for some time now. It is the same running gag where everyone is blond (except the "Latina" maid), speaks in a very heightened L.A. air-head way, and then gives directions using "take the 101 to the 405 South..." etc. Mix it in with the usual bad soap acting and over-dramatic music, and you have something they say airs on SoapNet. Fred Armisen and Bill Hader are the two main protagonists in this and Hader breaks character a lot. My ears perked up at hearing "Linda Ronstadt."
