so i just keyed in the phrase insufferable linda ronstadt into the search engine and in addition to something from erik n, i found this info about heart like a wheel that i had not seen before: On the phone from his home in New York, Rufus added: "On several levels, `Heart Like a Wheel' is responsible for Kate's and Anna's careers in music, as well as mine and Martha's. My mother and aunt hadn't planned on being professional songwriters, but when Ronstadt picked up the song, it altered their paths and accidentally led us all to a life in show business. "We owe a lot to that song. It's one of the most beautiful songs ever written. My favourite version is the one they recorded on their first album, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, in 1975." www.thestar.com/entertainment/whatson/article/307621--mcgarrigle-family-reunites-at-songwriters-gala

The Alladin themed article shows the stupidity and ignorance of those supposed "brainiacs" commenting. Their take on the entire incident was wrong as were most of their conclusions.
Did we ever post the REAL story as told by Linda on the forum? I believe it was in the Tucson newspaper, possibly written by the great Daniel Buckley? That ought to be the final word on the truth at the Alladin.
And what really got me was the comments that Moore's facts in his movie were incorrect? huh Not only were they correct he was being kind in most instances compared to what was really going on in that administration.
Good find! I almost always type in Linda's name on linked websites too to find interesting stuff that I often post here. Amazing what you can come up with.
