If I had my druthers, I would hang out on this site all day , but unfortunately that won't help pay the bills, quell the hunger, etc. So I was wondering, what do you do for a living? (Besides breathing, ) I am a R&D chemist.

Quote by Dianna:
It comes from having been a voracious reader all my life, and having spent a lot of time in libraries, knowing where certain books go in relation to which sections of the library. It's not as easy as it probably sounds.

I suppose career placement is not for me. I'm kind of disappointed, now I see ronstadtfanaz in a different light.. this is what I imagined:
Bride Kidnapping expert
Teen Exorcist
Fun Club President
Penguinologist
Town Crier
Wizard
Mall Santa
Rasputin impersonator
In charge of the "Big Door"

I worked for Allstate for 12 years and then they outsourced my department (along with 9 of us). I work in Assigned Risk; I'm the Special Investigation Unit person, looking for possible rate evaders. It's an amazing job sometimes, I enjoy what I do, but it's frustrating for a number of reasons.

Graphic design (self-employed).
I also walk dogs.
And write. I wrote a screenplay that won 2nd place in 2011 in the Chicago screenwriting competition. Alas, having no Hollywood connections, it now languishes in a drawer...

Quote by Richard W. re. screenplay:
I hate to sound cynical; but if it's anything of real substance, the current powers-that-be in Hollywood won't touch it.

Since leaving Calif I haven't continued my schooling or found a job..I did manage to find an at home lead for a position as a fashion coordinator for an upscale clothing lines.. it's one of the 2 or 3 things that I can do really well.. so I hope I get the position..
