Far too many concerts to count starting somewhat late with the “Living in the USA” concert at the Forum in Los Angeles. In the old days she’d be at the universal amphitheater circa 1981 for ten nights in a row and I saw the concert 8 times. Over the years I watched her perform every genre of music. One of my all-time favorite nights was at the universal amphitheater in 2004. She had just been thrown out of the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas for her brave, brief and wonderful political comments promoting Michael Moore’s farrenheit film. I have to say, if you’ve never heard her sing live, you have no idea as to what you missed. Recordings and videos can’t begin to convey the power of her flawless vocals. She embodies everything that is great about music. So many recording artists aren’t much outside of a recording studio and they resort to gimmicks to create a stage show. Linda Ronstadt is so vocally powerful in person on stage. There are few who compare. Her voice and her songs live in my heart like family.

Too many to keep track of if you include Pirates at the Delacorte and on Broadway...close to 100!

Quote by brendywendy:
I believe she did the 2006 Edmonton Folk Festival in Canada; the 2006 Crater Festival in Hawaii; and the 2007 Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island (incredibly, that was her only appearance ever at that one). And there were others scattered here and there that haven't been touched on (yet). Her last known official concert appearance was with the Mariachis at Brady Auditorium in San Antonio (close to The Alamo) on November 7, 2009.

My first time seeing her was for the Mad Love tour in 1980. Those of you that know me, we went to see her at Rutgers in NJ. My last time seeing her live to date is the Tilles Center Show on Long Island for her book tour. I also saw her in Pirates in the Uris Theatre in 1981. It was a hs graduation gift. In between, I think I saw her 20-25 times. eddiejinnj
