Good job covering the song, but here's the real deal...

She did a good job with song live vs in rehearsal. Rehearsal is just that; trying different things artistically to see what works and sounds/feels the best emotively. I hope there is a surge of viewers of the various Trio vids of the song.

I thought Mia' version of "Those Memories Of You" was quite good (no one can top what the Trio did, but let's give props for her trying). I do, however, find it weird that Mia would try out this song, an ultra-traditionalist country song, for Gene Simmons, of all people.

Well, Mia didn't make the cut this week, so she's off the show. She was coached by Shania Twain this week with one of hit songs "No One Needs to Know." Perhaps she will find her niche in Country music somewhere.

Quote by PoP80:
One hopes that if Mia breaks into the Country field, she'll be able to be her authentic self. Not the "next Shania", or the "next Miranda Lambert", but rather "The Mia Matthews". As Linda has said, "You don't have to be original, you just have to be authentic."
