I see that a Tom Petty tribute album is coming and it features Dolly Parton doing his song Southern Accents. Not a bad job.
That reminded me of a visit to Nashville and I got to attend the Opry as a guest of Elizabeth Cook. Got to sit on the stage with some friends and watch the entire night's performances. She sang Southern Accents that night as a tribute to Tom Petty, who had recently died. I recorded it and you can listen to it from this link if you have an interest:
