Hello, Forum Members --
Longtime member of the Forum -- Sliderocker -- posted this on Sunday --
As to my hospitalization, I entered the day after my 68th birthday for double bypass surgery, possibly triple bypass surgery. I came too perilously close to my 68th being my last as I had total blockage in one artery and 90% in the other. I don't know how bad the third artery was but I'm not sure I want to know. I wanted to put something out there to let everybody know why they hadn't seen me around for the past couple of weeks. I was discharged from the hospital yesterday morning, not 100% recovered, more like halfway there. I want to be quite active on the group again but I probably won't make that many contributions until I exceed being 100% recovered. Ten minutes on computer can wipe me out for the rest of the day. But, it's good to be back among my fellow Linda fans.
I hope you will please add your good wishes here for Sliderocker.
As I said in the other thread, I am sorry that you went through all of this. Thank you for letting us know. It's good to hear from you.
Please keep us posted -- as you are able -- on how you are doing.
Please rest and take care of yourself. We are sending all good thoughts for your recovery. -- Rick

A little late to this thread but while I was laid up in the hospital for two weeks, I happened to catch a promo for "The Goldbergs," and a lot of the promo fottage featured around Hayley Orrantia. And in my mindless haze trying to recover well enough to be discharged, I kept thinking Hayley is the girl to play Linda in the movie version of her book "Simple Dreams." I hope she would be given every consideration to be the one to play Linda. I was sold the first moment I saw her.
