Thanks again Tony for these. I really appreciate your work posting them. I think they are a great addition to this site. Especially for the younger fans just discovering Linda.

Why the Donna Summer? I thought it was maybe to compare Donna's 1979 Billboard year-end awards with Linda's in 1978: 1979 was Donna's year but even though Linda didn't release a new album that year, she still placed in the Top 10 in several Billboard award categories: - Top Album Artists:#17 (with points for Greatest Hits, Simple Dreams, and Living in the USA)
- Top Single Artists: #43 (with points for "Back in the USA, "Ooh Baby Baby," and "Just One Look")
- Top Overall Female Artists: #9
- Top Female Album Artists: #8
- Top Female Single Artists: #9
- Top A/C Artists: #16

Record World did not have Linda listed as a Top 10 Female Singer for the period they were awarding. I went back to check. That's why the Female section did not display when I searched for Ronstadt. I did not realize but the Donna Summer page I have was an advertisement from her record company.
