I could see suing someone if they were making thousands of copies of a bootleg, but a single bootleg? What has happened to Eric? Is he so hard up for money that he has to sue anyone who makes a dollar off of him? He got his pound of flesh from the woman and left her with almost $4,000 in legal fees. Clapton has made at least one man, who was a Clapton fan, very unhappy. Below is his rant on YouTube. This gentleman wants to start a Go Fund Me to help the woman in Germany pay her legal bills. And the gentleman now calls Clapton a wanker. I can think of a few other names to call him, but I'll second his comment. Eric, what the hell has happened to you?

Between this bootleg brouhaha and his anti-van attitudes, "Slow Hand" has become slow-witted (IMHO).
What a way to blow fifty-seven years of a career in just one single year!

Between this bootleg brouhaha and his anti-van attitudes, "Slow Hand" has become slow-witted (IMHO). What a way to blow fifty-seven years of a career in just one single year! Because of the blow up over the bootleg, Clapton and his management have backed off from collecting the money gotten on the CD. And they have asked the court to drop the $4000 in court fees. Clapton and his attorneys may have to pay that part of the settlement, which would be poetic justice. They sued over an $11 CD sold in a private sale and then, they have to pay the court fees for dropping the case. Clapton should drop his lawyers!

I saw EC many times in concert. One of which, where he was pretty messed up (really drunk) but that one isn't worth talking about.
This one was by far the best. (see below) *** captured on two BASF PERFORMANCE I C-90 cassette tapes and a PANASONIC RQ-J36 Stereo Recording walkman using the
built-in mics from our seat location ***
