This is very exciting. It seems like the category name changed since her Canciones Emmy win unless it is considered a different award. It might be a different new category since it says documentary. Canciones was nominated for Best Musical Program/special to paraphrase. All good publicity. More people exposed to her music and the film in general. eddiejinnj

Definitely, desperately want it to win. The others nominees, don't know what they are but they seem shallow...
It is sad that there is so little of Linda-now in TSOMV.
Seems to be more Linda concert broadcasts being available to buy on CD or download than ever before.

Just saw a clip this AM on Good Morning America that Beyoncé just won am Emmy for her Black Is King film. I know that it competed with Sound of My Voice for a Grammy which went to Sound of My Voice. I am assuming the two films competed for the Emmy as well, so am I right in thinking Linda’s doc lost to Beyoncé for the Emmy?

Linda was nominated for "Outstanding Arts & Culture Documentary", so a different category to Beyoncé.

Sound of My Voice is in a different category - awarded next month. Black is King won for "best costumes" which was part of the " creative arts" Emmys awarded this month.
