I posted this article back in December 1999. But having dug up this issue recently, I rescanned it to make it easier to read.USA Today, February 6, 1987

I found this article by Robert K Oermann from the March 22, 1987 issue of The Tennessean Showcase.

When I saw this thread at top having forgotten about I thought we were getting something new, or repackaged at least…kinda like when Tony did that April Fools about the cruise, which I DIDN’T FALL FOR!

Cruise details can be found on this web page: Linda Ronstadt HomepageThis bogus piece of information was a real irritant to a fan in Australia who began making travel plans immediately. He was not amused by April Fools.

In addition to the article above by Robert K Oermann, I found his review of TRIO from when it was released. He has always been one of my favorite music writers, and his book " Finding Her Voice" is one of my books that is not leaving the collection. On the other hand, Hobo's Meditation is one of my all-time favorite Linda Ronstadt songs, but he singled it out for negative attention in his review. At any rate, this review is from The Tennessean Showcase, March 8, 1987.

I thought Linda had some powerful vocals in "Hobo's Meditations" ("just waiting for a train to pass by") Well, you know what they say opinions are like.....
