She'll be back one way or another. Nice article. Interesting that James was filming this as part of the documentary but it seems fitting considering her genetic and emotional ties to Mexico. I was surprised to read that her first visit there wasn't until 1995. I don't think many 2nd generation Americans have ties like that to their ancestral homeland. Most don't even know their great grandparent's names or much about them. I know more about Linda's family history than I do my own except that my German ancestors and hers were from the same general area and may have well known each other. Glad to see Jackson made the trip as he too has been quite involved with the same group.

I think she visited before 1995. I think that sentence in the article was poorly constructed.
