This is somewhat disingenuous as George was also seen in the official video for "How Do You Sleep," which came out on the album video for "Imagine." George played on five of the ten "Imagine" songs but the video for "How Do You Sleep" was the only video which showed his participation. And except for that song and the title song, the rest of the videos were just films that had been shot by John and Yoko that she set John's songs to after his death. There's nothing that much new in this video, nothing I hadn't seen before other than it's a very laid back performance. The released version was angry and there was another version that was even angrier - in that after singing the second verse and repeating the chorus, after John sings "How do you sleep at night," he adds "you son of a bitch!" And then he stopped the song, knowing he had gone too far and too angry. It was indicative of how far apart Paul had grown from his former band mates because of their business affairs. But, this song allowed John to release his anger and get it out of his system.

It was one of those low points in rock and roll, in my opinion. Yes, Paul admittedly did take some swipes at his former partner on Ram, but somehow Lennon's reaction was to try to scratch an itch with a stick of TNT.
Still, it's not exactly disputable that the breakup of the Beatles, which was the result of probably many things, artistic and business alike, was a traumatic one for all concerned. I think John and Paul did take time to make up later on, but what might have come from this rapprochement will never be known.
