Yes, a very terrible passing for the music business, and for Motown in particular. Moore's passing marked the fifth big-time musician to pass away just in the last week, following Mel Tillis, David Cassidy, Della Reese, and AC/DC's Malcolm Young.

I am surprised on this Forum — of all forums — aren’t taking note of Moore’s passing. He co-wrote “Ooh Baby Baby” and “Tracks of My Tears,” which were part of Linda’s repertoire for years.

I noted his passing in the 2017 CELEBRITY AND NOTABLE DEATHS thread in the General Discussion section. Unfortunately, you really do have to keep up with the number of good folks like Moore who are passing on at such an incredibly scary rate.

Sorry, Erik, I thought because it is music-related, I thought it would be here. Typically, when it is music-related, it goes here. When it is film or another art, then it typically goes one category below.

I think it was Rob who set up that thread in the General Discussion section. I usually post these individual "obituaries" (for lack of a better word) in the Music Discussion section when it involves a musician. But given how many entertainers, musicians, actors, and the like, have dropped off the scene the last couple of years, and often in all-too-quick succession, it can be awfully easy to miss one at times; and I certainly don't mean to slight any.
Really, it has been an absolutely horrific time for the entertainment industry.
