Looks interesting. The book's editor Holly Gleason is a well respected writer. She recently wrote an interesting piece about Valerie Carter. I'll place a link on the Valerie Carter thread

Alison Krauss and Linda Ronstadt are not influential enough to be named on the cover like Wanda Jackson, June Carter, Loretta, and many others. The cover needs a redesign. I would pre-order, but based on the cover I am not absolutely certain the article about Linda Ronstadt made the final edit.

Hmm. I don't know a lot about Grace except her 1 song. Stars.. but I did look her up, she doesn't cite Linda as an influence or I can't find it, she does cites others. I tend to be skeptical but who knows??

Quote by Dianna:
Grace was one of the performers at last December's Parkinson's benefit concert here in L.A. to honor Linda, alongside Linda's pals Jackson Browne, Don Henley, Aaron Neville, J.D. Souther, and Maria Muldaur, to name just a few. She did "You're No Good" and "Silver Threads And Golden Needles".

I am not familiar with Grace Potter but I've heard the name. Does she do the theme song to that Jane Fonda/Lily Tomlin show Grace and Frankie? Stuck in the Middle with You!
