Hadn't heard that till I saw your post...looks like they're all dead from that show except for Ron Howard and Jim Nabors.
Just a reminder, Linda sang the theme song from Andy's "Headmaster" series.

Re. Headmaster--yes, and it's a shame that it was so short-lived a series. Maybe too many people wanted him to be the sheriff of Mayberry in perpetuity. But then in the late 80s he did Matlock, which ran for nine years (1986-1995). Not too many actors can claim being on two different TV series that each lasted nearly ten years.

TV Land will probably do a special on ( Andy Griffith ) on The Andy Griffith show.

Saturday and Sunday, July 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET/PT, TV Land will air some of the most memorable episodes in marathons of "The Andy Griffith Show."
