I have tickets to see her in Philadelphia, hopefully I will have a chance to meet her after the show and she will remember me

I've mentioned it a lot about Tift, but I have always felt that she takes an approach that is very contemporary Americana in terms of her songwriting while also paying homage to the "old school" country-rock of Linda and Emmylou. It's a great artistic niche to have; and while I would have hoped the rest of the world would have found out about her after Bramble Rose, I shudder to think of the changes she would have to make to get any airplay on corporate radio, especially country radio.
I'd really rather have Tift do things the way she wants, which is something that I think would make Linda proud of her.
