Hi Everyone. I have 2 first row seats for this Thursday's Tilles Center, Ronstadt appearance, they are front row center. Unfortunately, I have a surgical procedure (not life threatening) Friday at 7 am and can't go to the show. If anyone is interested, best offer gets the tickets.
Send me a private message with what you can afford. I'll Fed Ex them to you Monday for Tuesday delivery. The FedEx will add about $15. I'm not looking to make money on these, just get back a few $$ I've already spent. If you are in the NYC/Long Island metro area, this is close by either car or public transportation.
I can't tell you how disappointed I am that I can't go but would hate to see these seats go to waste. Let me know.
Kev

You may want to let the folks on the Linda Ronstadt Facebook Collective or the Linda Ronstadt Fan Site on FB know. They seem to have a bunch of people from NY/NJ. Just an idea. Best of Luck. There may be some here who know how that works best - they seem decent and it is easy to post.

I have front row seats too, kev. What number seats do you have? Actually, this is the first time in all the many shows I have seen that I do. They are $80 seats (each). eddiejinnj

I got a call from the Tilles Center tonight and the show has been moved from the concert hall to the recital hall. I was told I had front row seats in the concert hall when I bought the tickets right at 1pm the first day of sale. They were good seats but supposedly not front seats. I negotiated seat improvements to front row in the new hall. I truly hope they are!!!!!!! eddiejinnj

Hi Eddiejinnj, I have third row center seats. Do I need to call and renegotiate my seats? I'm kind of confused. Shouldn't they keep The seating arrangement even if they changed the hall? Please advice. I'm traveling tomorrow morning to NY. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Eden and I apologize for not formally welcoming you to the forum before. You have good taste in music lol!!!! Well, they are two different halls. I have no idea what the seating arrangement is or capacity of the two halls. They should be giving you a call with new seats and option to e-mail the tickets or you can pick up at box office (I chose the box office as I was focusing on the seat positions at the time and was visiting my stepmom when I had to call the box office back last night). I might call and have them e-mailed after all since I just thought about it. I would hope they would have two lines one for buying tickets and one for reserved tickets. They supposedly give you comparable seats in the new hall. In your case, third row seats. I respectfully pushed it a little since I was told my former seats were front row by the staff member I talked to when I bought the tickets right when the box office opened the first day the tickets went on sale to the public at 1 pm. Like I said in my last post I hope that these new seats are front row. I hope this helps you and again welcome to the forum. And just feel free to call me Eddie!!!!! eddiejinnj

Well, not sure how I feel about this but the Tilles Concert Hall holds 2,250 seats and the Recital Hall like 425. I have to say when I went to the site yesterday and they showed upcoming events I saw Chita Rivera for Friday night but not Linda. When you searched calendar it does show then. eddiejinnj

Just got home. What an enjoyable show. We were so close and they left lights on in audience. She was maybe 15 ft or so from the front row. Will share other things tomorrow including about talking to John Boylan. Nite all!!! eddiejinnj
PS: Eden, hope it was very enjoyable for you since you came up from Florida. Enjoy the rest of your trip here. Also, Joe, if you came from Detroit, I hope you had a blast.

So lucky you had the chance to spend an intimate evening with Linda. My brother and his partner went and said it was very special. Made him feel "very young again because I still have a thing for her". He is gay but that doesn't seem to matter in ways of the heart. His life partner said "I am a little jealous of his deep affection for Linda". How wonderful she can make people feel that way. Wish her and all her fans much joy.

Hi Eddie, It was a very special night indeed. She looked stunning.
Im upset at myself for not realizing the horrible traffic from Manhattan to long island. I missed the first 15- 20 minutes.
I read on another thread that you got to speak to John. How did that happen? Was it before or after the presentation. He seems to really care about Linda.
It killed me that she had to be helped out of the stage. I also kept thinking that she was probably in pain the whole time but kept smiling until the very end of the presentation.
What a strong woman she is. Gracious, kind and humble. I will always be in awe of her talent and equaly so of her integrity and decency. She radiates goodness.

I saw and talked to John Boylan in the inner lobby before the show. I said to my partner "there's John". He turned around and I took the opportunity to tell him I'm Eddie from the fan's forum and he didn't seem to know about it. I asked him to check it out and also told him I had given Linda a nice hand carved "Peace" sign at the 92nd Y in NYC and I said I hope she has it. He said she keeps all that kind of stuff. I introduced my partner and said my name again, shook his hand again and we parted.
We also were talking to a nice couple next to us and we told them about the forum, my name to look out for and said it was easy to join. They are recent Ronstadt fans since they attended the Hall induction ceremony and were impressed with Linda's segment. eddiejinnj
