Linda has consigned about about 3 dozen items with Heritage Auctions, including stage costumes, awards & other memorabilia. This auction will be held by Heritage Auctions in Dallas on November 12th. From what I understand, Linda no longer wants to store these items. Here's a link to an article with a few photos of the items in Intelligent Collector about The Linda Ronstadt Collection that she has consigned. intelligentcollector.com/linda-ronstadt-collection/?ctrack=1190652&type=article-13-intelligentcollector--dig-fall16--tem090616"The elaborate folklorico costume Ronstadt wore in the late 1980s and 1990s, and more than two dozen other items consigned directly by the singer, are featured in Heritage’s entertainment auction scheduled for Nov. 12, 2016, in Dallas. "Also included are Ronstadt’s Billboard Award, Playboy Music Awards, and certificates for her Grammy nomination for Blue Bayou (Record of the Year) and Tony nomination for The Pirates of Penzance (Best Performance by a Leading Actress)."

Nice to see you here again Mark.
All of this stuff would be out of my league. I would almost rather have something Linda personally gave me, no matter how trite. It is amazing how much Linda is like her mom in so many ways. When Linda's fans came to visit her and Gilbert on Prince Road in Tucson she always had some memento to give to them to remember them by. She was very proud of Linda but always worried about her like moms always do, maybe more. Just a lovely woman. They did a great job raising all their kids and it shows. A bit more than your typical family for sure.

Hi Ronstadtfanaz, did you meet Linda's mom? If so, how did it happen?

I saw Linda in concert in 1996 in Tucson. After she finished singing, she left her plastic water bottle sitting on the stage. I tried to get the bottle as I left the auditorium, but a security guard stopped me. I asked the guard to grab the bottle for me. He said no. I asked him if he'd grab the bottle for me for $20.00. He still said no. And people wonder why I dislike security guards.

Nice stuff, but I'd rather have her old Sin City jacket!
