It's really becoming well-nigh impossible to take, all of these great people in the entertainment business and the arts dying. Marshall was responsible for some of the greatest sitcoms in TV history, and arguably helped make Julia Roberts a household name (with PRETTY WOMAN). He's another one of those that simply can't be replaced.

I was surprised to read that Marshall had passed away when I got online this afternoon. "Happy Days" will forever be one of my favorite TV shows of all time. The others, like "Laverne & Shirley" and "Mork and Mindy" not as much....but terrific shows just the same. He was a creator during a time when the sitcom simply ruled television. I can't even name one primetime sitcom on the major networks today. Shows you how much I watch TV today...lol. Marshall was a legend and he will be missed. But his legacy will live on for generations through the wonderful entertainment and memories he gave to us. RIP Garry.
