You'd think that G.L. would have long since passed the point where he "needed" to make blockbusters like the Star Wars franchise, which has grossed more overall than the gross domestic products of some small countries. I mean, he is hearing it from those who have jeered on how he has tinkered around with the original trilogy, and then given us a second one that unleashed...Jar-Jar Binks?!!
I hope he has looked at the examples his good friend from Phoenix, Steven Spielberg, set, with SCHINDLER'S LIST, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, A.I., MINORITY REPORT, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, THE TERMINAL, MUNICH, and WAR HORSE. and will take more risks in the future like RED TAILS. I'd think he can afford to.

If I had his money and his friendship with Linda I would have commissioned any number of Ronstadt recordings even if they were only for my private collection for the time being. She was in great form back then (during their courtship). I would have also commissioned some of the greatest writers to write for Linda. The world would have been so much richer for it even if he were a few dollars poorer.
